Cow Manure Vermicompost

1. Preparing a New Potting Mix (Soilless or Soil-Based)

If you are planting new saplings or repotting existing ones, use vermicompost to build a nutrient-rich foundation:

• Standard Mix: Combine 1 part Cow Manure Vermicompost, 2 parts regular garden soil, and 1 part coco peat.

• This ratio ensures excellent aeration, moisture retention, and a steady release of nutrients to the young roots.

2. For Existing Potted Plants

• Application: Gently loosen the top 1–2 inches of soil around the rim of the pot (avoiding the main root ball).

• Dosage: Add 2 to 3 tablespoons (approximately 50–100 grams) of vermicompost per pot.

• Frequency: Mix it lightly into the topsoil and water immediately. Repeat this every 2 to 3 weeks during the growing season.

3. For Home Gardens & Flower Beds

• Application: Broadcast a layer of vermicompost about 1 inch thick evenly across the surface of your garden bed.

• Integration: Gently rake or hoe it into the top few inches of the soil.

• Watering: Give the bed a thorough watering right after to activate the beneficial microbes.

4. For Fruit Trees and Large Perennials

• Application: Dig a shallow, circular trench (about 2–3 inches deep) around the tree along its drip line (the perimeter where the leaves drip water onto the ground).

• Dosage: Apply 1 to 2 kg of Cow Manure Vermicompost into the trench depending on the size of the tree.

• Finishing: Cover it back up with the excavated soil and water deeply.
